In the book "Obedience to Authority" , in which experiments were conducted to determine extent to which people would deliver ever increasing levels of painful electrical shock at the direction of an authority figure. None was actually harmed,but the results were revealing.

Of the subjects tested, 65% would have delivered a lethal shock with only mild encouragement from the lab coated,clip board wielding "Authority " figure. This experiment was conducted with educated,middle class, Americans with no motive other than to please the authority figure.

This human propensity to obey authority is at the heart of the Muslim / Islamic matrix. The fascinating aspect of this cult is the control over the adherants. When the authority is an indefinable entity (Allah) defined by self appointed "Authority" figures, Imams,Mullas,et al the result is an exceptionally powerful cult which has had hundreds of years to normalize the most unpleasant behaviors. The inmates have taken the psych ward, and we have no meds.
