Mearsheimer / WaltReader comment on item: CAIR and the Council on Foreign Relations Endorse Mearsheimer/Walt Submitted by GB (United States), Aug 31, 2006 at 11:38 You must be more specific on your rebuttal to the Council on Foreign Relations endorsement of the Israel Lobby study. Your piece gave no specific details as to why that study is flawed, or why L. Carl Brown's review was flawed. Browns suggestion that this study deserves careful consideration is not an endorsement of it. He may be correct when saying that this study, should it pass scrutiny, might lead to changes in US Middle East policy. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: There is a whole literature on the flaws of the Israel lobby study - starting with Alex Safian's point-by-point dissection of it. << Previous Comment Next Comment >> Reader comments (14) on this item
