CFR as the Council of Fawning Relations - Welcoming conspiracy theorists and terrorist despotsReader comment on item: CAIR and the Council on Foreign Relations Endorse Mearsheimer/Walt Submitted by Ben van de Polder (United States), Sep 21, 2006 at 22:57 The United States Institute of Peace has lurched so far toward the Islamists, that they could be renamed the Umma Islamist Propaganda Institute. Last year the USIP launched the Muslim World Initiative, which counts among it's board members Nihad Awad of CAIR. http://www.usip.org/muslimworld/projects/members.html The Council on Foreign Relations has also made the suicidal leap to the lunatic fringe. A recent article in the CFR publication lauded conspiracy theorists Mearscheimer and Walt.. This week they deferentially hosted the mad Iranian dictator Achmadinejab . Giving a propaganda coup to a dangerous fanatic who is planning a nuclear Holocaust and ,declared his intention to wipe Israel off the face of the earth ,and believes in 'end times'. When think tanks court CAIR members, conspiracy theorists, and mad despots, their intellectual credibility and integrity goes "belly up". The USIP and CPR are prove that minds are indeed, a terrible thing to lose.
