Did it change "us?" It surely changed the Left and the leftist-run media, and in a really bad way!

9/11 was an alarm and a wake-up call, but leave it to the Left and the leftist media to hit the Snooze button, not once, but repeatedly since then.

9/11 did, in fact, shake the conservative media outlets awake after they had been lulled to sleep by the constant drone of "Occupation...occupation...occupation," coming out of the mouths of Palestinian talking heads posing as respectable guest spokespersons. For all his faults, Bill O'Reilly closed the revolving door (albeit, not totally) to the endless stream of Palestinian propagandists who parroted the same, tired party line to justify their terror attacks on Israel.

As long as these terror attacks were confined to Israel, the media had no reason to question the validity of the mindless "occupation mantra." Then, when the jihad hit our shores, the conservatvie media finally put two and two together and concluded that there is not a shred of difference between Al-Qaida and Hezbollah, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, the PLFP, and others whose real intentions are imperial conquest and the destruction of American democracy.

After 9/11, the talking heads were no longer welcomed on conservative networks like FOX NEWS unless they could talk about something other than Israel being the cause of all the evils in the world. At the same time that Rush Limbaugh was losing his occular sight, he was gaining intellectual insight into the muddled and corrupted minds of radical Islamics.

But, what of the much-maligned Left? Had they learned anything from 9/11? Yes, of course! They learned that they had a friend and ally in radical Muslims whose hatred of America and American policies resonated perfectly with their perspectives. After going around in circles,chasing their own tails, the Left embrased the ideology of the radical Muslim because it supported every kakamame conspiracy theory that they knew was true but could not prove.

Finally, they found an external source that they could cite to justify their criticisms when all they could do was to disagree with every thing that conservatives did and/or proposed on doing.

It is now a perfect fit. Got an outlandish theory? No problem. Just hop on Google and you will find all kinds of support for it.

However, when you peel back all of the layers like an artichoke, you will find the exact, same garbage that has been endlesslty rehashed and recycled, such as the 19th Century Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and the more ancient blood libels against Jews that claim they use the blood of non-Jews to make matzoh during Passover.

For our sake, though, there are people in this country, and in other parts of the world, that realize we are in a fight for our very lives, and the ones holding guns to our heads would have us cover them with flowers and write about them as if they contributions to multiculturalism and religious tolerance.,

Radical Muslims have thought -- and proven -- throughout centuries that they could get away with anything, including cold-blooded murder, without so much as a slap on the wrists. however, after 9/11, there are more and more people speaking out and dedicating their lives to ensure that more 9/11'sa will not happen again.

Who number themselves among these courageous individuals, willing to literally stick their necks out in the defense of the basic freedoms that America enjoys? I'll give you a hint: it is NOT that group of individuals who stick out their necks in order for them to place their heads where the sun don't shine!
