Dr.Tawfik Hamid's book on IslamReader comment on item: Dhimmitude in Practice Submitted by Gaye (Australia), Nov 14, 2006 at 14:54 Dr, while I totally agree with you, what you propose can never happen. While there are copies of the Quran in the world there will always be groups of people who will follow it to the fullest degree, 1400 years of violence has shown that. Muslims will never believe in just some of the Quran, it would just not work as they feel it ALL comes totally from Mohammad and thus it should be followed to the core... ...Allah seemed to change rules as Mohammad went alone, plus Mohammad joyed in the power of slaughtering people and the booty that he got from this. He was a very clever man and eloquent of speech and as he had become accustomed to the rich life he had with his older wife before she died, did he bring in a god into the equation and invented getting messages from this god (who kept changing his revelations), in a way of keeping himself surrounded by riches. Because it is human nature for people to need a leader and someone to look up to, they will follow a strong man to their death, and more likely so if they think he is getting messages from god, very clever. Mohammad's great grandfather also started a religious scam ... Submitting....
