At Least Someone...or two or three....

There was a petition circulated protesting this appearance on behalf of Harvard Alumni and Students. I signed it (as an alum). I recall a substantial number of eligible persons signed, along with another petition protesting the Israeali Divestment proposal.

You can find further details there. Mr. Yglesais is presently a student at Harvard (undergraduate) in philosophy, I believe. Further, he is a sometime writer for The Crimson and an independent paper, raising these issues on campus.

As a completely catty remark, I knew one of the faculty comittee members that approved the Jihad lecture when we were graduate students together. Let's just say that (1) I'm not surprised he had a hand in this, and (2) it figures....
