Tip of The Iceberg IndeedReader comment on item: Terrorist Profs Submitted by Larry Stratton (United States), Feb 26, 2003 at 01:08 This recent discovery that academics are intent on preaching ‘Anti-Americanism’ and furthering the evil, debased teachings of militant Islam is indeed only the tip of the iceberg. These Islamist cells are well rooted all over North America, Europe and Indonesia. We have been living in a fool's paradise, naively believing that the ‘bad neighborhood’ would not reach us across the oceans, and the foolish notion that we are in a "War on Terrorism" is just further evidence that we in the west are so naive, politically correct and open minded our collective brains have fallen out.We are no more in "A War Against Terrorism" than we were in a war against ballistic missiles during the 50’s 60’, 70’s and 80’s. We have been forced into a war of cultures, but no one has the courage to stand up and state the obvious. Osama bin Laden and countless thousands of Islamists have articulated this "fact" for years; we just don’t listen and don’t want to admit it. These professors are indeed the tip of the iceberg you can count on it. Look what they have done in Western Europe. Why do you think the French are so worried about living up to their duty and responsibility with their allies the U.K. and the USA? Could it be because they have over a 20% Muslim population, far outpacing their own population replacement rate, they have been in bed with Iraq for 20 years, built an nuclear facility in Iran, and basically they don’t want the Islamists to blow half of Paris off the map and they don’t want the U.S. Marines discovering just how much they have been helping Saddam with the WMD development. Our societal overconcern (bordering on obsession) with civil rights of these Islamist supporters and murderers is not only lunacy; if continued, it is suicidal. People who support the civil rights of these deceitful Islamists and the ‘Anti-America’ ‘No Iraq War’ ‘No War for Oil’ adherents are delusional. None of them seem to have even a shred of historical intelligence and certainly none of them has any idea what WMD deployment here in the USA would mean to this country and to the world. Their position is both morally and mentally bankrupt and absurdly naive, irresponsible and if carried out, suicidal.
