Reader comment on item: Hizbullah Rearms in South Lebanon

Submitted by steven L (United States), Dec 18, 2006 at 15:59

The international community is a meaningless entity. The UN is a convincing example of this proposition. Only when major members of the international community feel personally threatened, do they start to think about how to protect their interests rather than solve problems.

This is a typical human trait and a major deficency.

Unless "major mutations" occur to the human genome, it is very doubtfull that problems like in the ME, Darfur, Kashmir etc will ever be resolved.

Thanks "G" hope is free.
