clash of values

I grew up in the last 30 years of an era of neo-liberal, multicultural, ethnocentric values which basically lead to the avoiding of Truths. Add to this the experience of my cultural Northern Indian heritage, and I can truthfully state that the Western scholars have blindly given equal value to the behaviour patterns of all world cultures. This is plain "hogwash". Compassion and caring without understanding (truth) is as dangerous as being a uncivilized brute in the end. We as a society I believe have "dumbed" down our civilization during this process. If you spend some time reading and understanding the Islamic religion, there is an underlying violent theme of allegiance to "Allah" which overrides loyalty to any country. We need to be caring BUT question the values held by followers of Islam to protect our way of life and our children.
