Having freedoms in theory is much different from exercising freedoms in fact. When the Western press is shut down because of the fear of reprisals, when speech is deemed too sensitive for discussion, when freedom of extression avoids any reference to Islam because of intimidation, the battle has been lost. Political Islam is making unfettered progress because of the tacit approval of the political elites of the Western nations, the US included. Political Islam, is the despotism of our age, but has met no practical resistance to the spread of the ideology. We have infact established political Islam in Afganistan and Iraq in the Constitutions we created for the political islamists. It is not too much Christianity, it is too little.
