Who cares if Saudi Arabia doesn't want Daniel Pipes to be confirmed

Reader comment on item: Muslims for Pipes

Three points why Daniel Pipes should be confirmed by All:

1) Daniel Pipes, like a great surgeon is able clearly identify the location, means and aims of the 'cancer'--Islamists.

2) The Islamists and their supporters (Saudi Arabia?) would, of course, prefer that we not use our most effective weapons (best men and women) against their aims for controlling the USA, the globe. They would obviously like to see us rely on the uninformed to ultimately fail, so they could then gloat about how wrong we "always" are as a result of us falling into their traps. No thanks, we want our first string in on this one!

3) Senator Kennedy should be carefully clear about his loyalties right now. By accepting an invitation to speak,

"at a black-tie awards dinner of the Arab American Institute. The Arab American Institute [who] has issued an overheated press release calling on the Senate to reject the Pipes nomination for what it groundlessly calls Mr. Pipes's "racist and bigoted rhetoric" — yet the AAI dinner is sponsored in part by that beacon of tolerance, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

...Kennedy shrouds himself in grey area, when he should be rejecting to lend legitimacy to any group that is in-itself intolerant--Arab American Institute and their supporters Saudi Arabia.

We must not sit by and expect the best outcome to happen by the hands of others and without our individual, and collective, voice, strength. Please encourage the nomination of Daniel Pipes with your Representative Government members.

Kind regards,
Russell Paine
