Reader comment on item: Arguing over "Does Israel Need a Plan?"

Submitted by Shlomo ben Avraham Pinhero (United States), May 1, 2003 at 19:29

It appears to me that several comments made on the "Road Map" either ignore or fail to remember that the Palestinian Arabs that entered into the Land were in the majority criminal elements and ex-military personnel. Some indeed came to the Land for honest employment, but it was a very small minority. The majority were placed deliberatly by Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia to antagonize the people of Israel to the point of creating such an atmosphere that is prevalent today.

The end goal is obviously to rid Israel's existence. The "Road Map" if successful, I do mean if, will meet their goal of ridding the Land of Israelis.' The "Road Map" is nothing more than a combined revision of the Oslo, Mitchel, and Tenet Report. This answers the question as to why it appears to be one sided, in fact it really is one sided. Their is a great concern in the plan that indicates the United States is economically, monetarily and even militarily supporting the Palestinian State. Now this raises another issue, what benefit was there in destroying an Iraqi terrorist regime and subsequently build another terrorist regime in hopes or should I say false hopes of creating a democratic system in the area?

This same initiative is what built up these terrorist regimes in the first place. ..

Several comments did have legitimate points or concerns, but I believe they are more spontaneous than well thought out ideas. We all tend to respond, I am included, in a reactive posture, but we need to think very hard about bringing together our people once again under the umbrella of a spiritual community... May true peace flow down and anoint our heads.
