A Different RoadmapReader comment on item: Arguing over "Does Israel Need a Plan?" Submitted by Gamaliel Isaac (United States), May 1, 2003 at 22:25 Since Israeli concessions have not led to peace, why not do the reverse? In response to every terrorist attack seize some land and transfer the Arabs out of it into the rest of the area still controlled by the Palestinian Authority. Sure israel will be condemned but Israel is condemned anyway. Sure Egypt and Syria will threaten war, but they won't go to war unless they think they can win. The last time Israel even suggested doing something like this, the Palestinian Authority suddenly was making speeches how violence is not in the interest of the Palestinians. We should learn from what works and from what doesn't work.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
