I want express my sincere thanks for having a Daniel Pipes out front. Expressing the views of those like myself that dont have a medium to put forth our ideas. He is straight forward and not unrealistic given the true nature of Islam. Being a Christian Iranian gives me a small view and some cultural insight to the problems.

The debate about Islam can be overly intellectualized. In a way, the problems are more clear than the "chatty" ones allow it to be.

1) Islam has and does instill xenophobia.
2) Islam, when lacking western balance, is the most bigoted mindset on earth.
3) Moslems are unified in their religon due to thought control from childhood.
4) The arrogance of the religion permeates the street, politics, law and business resulting in an "I know best" mentality over consensus sharing.

I could go on and on but these examples give clear indication that the problems is NOT PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS BUT MINDSET. NOT PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS BUT MINDSET. Is anybody reading this?

The west needs to focus on solutions. These solutions should be pulled from effected regions themselves. It shouldnt stem from a think tank, though the impetus will come from these think tanks. The cure must come from Islam ( Daniel Pipes is quite correct with moderate Islam ) because those that are Islam understand more clearly the culture. The solution must look at Policing the states, injecting democracy and MOST importantly guiding change through HEARTS ( hearts and minds ). HEARTS above all else, and change will come "extreme" quick !!!! This is the achilles heal but the west doesnt get it.
