My wholehearted supportReader comment on item: Daniel Pipes, peacenik Submitted by Daniel Richer (United States), May 12, 2003 at 21:12 Daniel Pipes has my whole-hearted support in his efforts to bring to light that Islamic Fundamentalism is a real threat and danger not only to America and the stability of the middle east but to Islam itself. Should the Fundamentalists get the jihad they so desperately seek, there may be horrific misery in this centruy that will make the 20th seem only as a prelude. If the Islamic revolution can succeed in Iran and Afghanistan, we must strive to ensure that it does not occur in Iraq and Turkey. We should not sit idly by and watch the the struggle carried into the very heart of Europe - watch out France! And what of America, our oceans do not protect us, and our open and democratic society is a breeding ground for Islamicist 5th columnists already here amongst us.
