RE: comment, "Zero tolerence for radicals"Reader comment on item: [Hussein Ibish:] U.S. Arabs' Firebrand Submitted by Grant (United States), May 16, 2003 at 18:54 Though I realize it is well after the fact and the author of the comment will probably not see this response, I would like to ask Mr. Kelly why he feels we have the right to throw people such as Ibish out of the country.The very country you want to toss him out of was founded on the principle that everyone has a right to ideological and personal freedom, as well as freedom of speech. You have every right to disagree with Ibish. Though I agree with Ibish's view that American mainstream media reports tend to create an overall bias against the Middle East, I do find many of his beliefs (not to mention his rather rude debate style) a bit over-the-top. However, you should do everything you can to make your voice heard about WHY you disagree with Ibish -- not simply that because you disagree with him, he should be thrown out of the United States.
