The much hoped for demise of KadimaReader comment on item: What will the future political landscape look like in Israel in the aftermath of the Winograd report? Submitted by Seamus MacNemi (United States), May 3, 2007 at 00:41 As a friend of Likkud and a supporter of both Bibi Netanyahu and Menachem Begin, I can only say Baruch HaShem she higianu l'zman hazeh. I was beginning to think that all was lost when the withdrawal from Gaza occured. I cried when we left Hebron. My brief stay in Kiryat Arba in the early seventies has left a lasting impression on my life. When I rise from my bed in the morning my first thought is "MODEI ANI". Both my experience in living and my study of history have taught me that 'Faith" is courage in the face of adversity. As it is said amongst my folk, " What is the soul if it is not as steel forged in the fires of adversity"? Adverse times bring out the best and the worst in men. We have seen the worst. Now let us see the best. A life that is not worth defending is not worth living. "Chazak ve Amatz"
