Personalities and parties

Reader comment on item: What will the future political landscape look like in Israel in the aftermath of the Winograd report?

Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), May 3, 2007 at 12:36

When you look at the personalities that have been in the Knesset, very strong personalities come to mind: Golda Meir, David Ben Gurion, Menachem Begin, Binyamin Netanyahu.

However, personality alone is not enough to sustain a political party for the long haul, which alas, is the fate of Kadima.
