Overlap or the lack thereofReader comment on item: Harems Accepted in the West Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Jun 1, 2007 at 10:28 The province of Quebec operates according to the Napoleonic Code, which is different than English common law. I mention this because the amount of room where both sides agree to disagree is larger than what both have in common. This has had an effect contributing to what Quebec is today. I say this because, the amont of room to disagree between allowing harems and one man-one woman allowed in marriage - well, there isn't that much room. So, once again we see the exclusivity of the brigands who trace their beginnings to raiders from the Arabian Peninsula 1400 years ago, that exclusivity stunt the cultural development of those who take that path. One other thing, those countries that allow polygamy, especially when it comes to one man and multiple wives, they show that when it comes to misogny, there is no one who picks up where they left off.
