It has happened in India before

The moment India was vivisected to India and Pakistan. India remained secular and Pakistan became a muslim nation. The national song which played a crucial role in Independence movement, "Vande matharam (Praise the mother land)", which logically should have become national anthem, was relegated to second position just for the only reason that Indian muslims will not sing praise to "Mother India" as its "unislamic" to bow to anything else other than Allah!.

I hope that Israel will not do the same kind of mistake and change its national anthem for the sake of accomodating Arab-muslim minority into mainstream politics.
