Re: Comment from KimReader comment on item: The London Markaz Submitted by Maxx (United Kingdom), Jun 13, 2007 at 18:20 Kim - I will answer your questions -- though I would ask you to go back to my original post and actually answer some of my assertions ( I didn't see you discuss a single point I made). Your Question #1 - If Muslims want to be seen as controlling and dominating everything, then what is Bush doing with his military invasions of Iraq and other countries of the globe? Well, first I don't know what the heck Muslims being controlling and dominating has to do with Bush (I guess you mean his act to actually defeat Al Qaida offensively) but I get your point (I think). Bush is attempting to defeat Al Qaida. Before Bush, lesse, the US dispatched its Armies not less than seven times IN DEFENSE OF MUSLIMS (perhaps you missed this - Kuwait, Somalia, Kosovo, Albania, etc.). Yes, invading Iraq this last time was a mistake - but it wasn't an attack on Muslims for the sake of attacking Muslims - like Muslims (not you of course, but fellow Muslims on the radical spectrum) like Al Qaida openly attack ANYBODY - Muslims and non-Muslims alike daily. Are you opposed to the wanton killing of Muslims too? Perhaps you abhor AQ for bombing the Samarra Mosque today - or Bombing other Mosques in Iraq and around the world DAILY - you probably ignore these facts - like other Muslims AND the League of Arab Nations, and every other Islamic Country. I didn't see any Muslims protecting their brothers when Serbia attacked Bosnian Muslims (did this bother you at all? It didn't bother the rest of the Muslim world - they were ABSENT- cept for AQ of course)... Question #2 - "What has the US military been doing for the last 40 years?" Well, in addition to defending Muslims, defeating Communism, and taking on other (non) military missons such as food distribution and nation building on every continent around the globe - I guess nothing. Question #3 - (actually a statement) - "You could substitute the words "American government/military" for the word "Muslims" in your original statement and it would acutally be something valid..." I did subsititue the words and they would not make sense at all (try it - you obviously didn't). Now, I assume (tell me if I'm wrong here) that you do not know what a Takfir is nor do you know what the Jamaat al Tabligh is really about. You also seem to be unaware of the obligatory nature of killing Kafir - something the Mecca verses (plus Hadith) require - things JT doctrine espouses. Perhaps you could tell me what the Hadith says about the abrogation of the Mecca verses of the Koran? I emplore you to investigate this yourself and not attack me blindly. In fact, I would assert that while I see you as a valid human, deserving of every right you have -- your fellow RADICAL brothers do not. In fact, you live in Dar al Harb and may even be viewed as an apostate yourself. Ever travelled to an Islamic country - like say Egypt or Saudi Arabia? Have you done the Hajj (obligatory by the way)? Well, when you do, you will find that you will run into the most virulent racism you've ever encountered. Try praying in a Mosque or attending friday prayers in those countries.... As a matter of fact, the safest place a Muslim can be is in America. Doubt that, try moving. By the way, I write this to you from Baghdad today. I am not just talking the talk, but the last 18 years of my life has been dedicated to fighting the evil of extreme Islamic ideology. Mind you, that is extreme Islamism - what you might find is that I have yet to find a VALID moderate voice amongst the Jamaat al Tabligh - I know them well and they are very much a threat to me AND TO YOU. I honestly look forward to getting a well thought response from you. This type of dialogue is crucial to understanding issues. Again, this type of dialogue which would not be permitted under Shari'a - would you think Shari'a would be better for me/you?
