"the right road to peace"Reader comment on item: Does Israel Need a [Peace] Plan? Submitted by shuki (United States), Jul 5, 2007 at 18:53 mr. pipes is certainly well studied in this area. i have to respectfully disagree, however, that a time will come when the "palestinians" will give up their idea of destroying israel. since this piece was published, it has gotten worse. the israeli left gave up gaza which was a tragic mistake and only emboldened the terrorists while displacing exceptional jewish communities. as we learned in joan peters' "from time immemorial", the idea of a "palestinian" is a false construct the arabs themselves admit to. if one thinks they will give up their motive, i ask is it possible for islam to give up it's distorted and twisted notion that the covenant was with yishmael and not yitzhak? from history it seems pretty clear that radical islam understands only one thing: power. when israel decides to completely and utterly destroy the terrorists, the "palestinians" will understand what to do: leave the area or learn to live with the jews. one of the main problems today is the ballooning big lie of 'israeli occupation' when infact the truth is the arab occupation of sacred jewish land. personally, i favor the "right road to peace" which calls for the disarming of all terrorist organizations and individuals, encourages arab movement out of yesha("west bank" and gaza) and stipulates political status for the remaining arabs as citizens of jordan, while israel rightfully annexes yesha. the idea can be read at http://www.therightroadtopeace.com more jews in israel and elsewhere need to be properly educated in the true history of the region and no longer succumb to the arab fallacy about "palestinians". every jew should know golda meier's quote:'there is no such thing as a 'palestinian". that it is a false construct based on the roman intention 2000 years ago to erase jewish identity from the area then known as yehuda (judea). this is a battle of wills and the side with the truth and the power will prevail. the most dangerous thing for israel besides arab arms-buildup is the growing notion among its people that somehow the land doesn't belong to the jews, but to the so-called 'palestinians". growing connection to torah and the true history will give israel the spiritual and psychological power it needs to do what is necessary to claim its rightful land and defeat its enemies.
