Trollin' with ideas

Hello everybody, I would just like to voice my opinions on some of the major subjects bought up in this dicussion: "The Quran promotes violence against non believers": True, however, so does the bible. In one passage of the Old Testament it tells you to kill every man, women and child in a city where non-believers reside. Allmost all religions can be interpreted to promote violence, and there will always be extremists ready to act on it. "But Muslims are the only ones who act on these interpretations, and the large community of muslims poses a threat": Extremists of ALL religions and denominations can cause violence.

Again look at the large ammounts of fundimentalist christians who have commited crimes in the name of god: Abortion Clinic bombings, lynchings etc. Again, the muslim religion is not to blame anymore than any other religions, which are accepted. "Muslims hate westeners": Most Muslims who live in the West do not. Most Anti-Western muslims live in isolated communites where fanatical preachers can 'work their magic' so to speak. Many Muslims also hate Westeners because we have taken extensive and unwarranted military action against middle eastern countries. If Americans hate muslims because of 9/11 in which 3000 people were killed, maybe Muslims hate Americans because of Iraq, in which OVER 168 000 people were killed? The way to combate terroisim and hatred is not more troops or tanks, but increased understanding, diplomacy and sharing of cultures. I going to bed now but "AHLL BE BACK".
