Loss of Liberty and Injustice for AllReader comment on item: Washington Protects the Terror Masters [in Courtrooms] Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Nov 15, 2007 at 15:40 As Annapolis comes closer, and to those who are interested in how the United States cannot seem to resolve the primary issues of bringing about closure to the Road Map to Peace, one need only look at the affront to American interests in justice for American's in this world, and find that not only are Americans being targeted from abroad for having citizenship in a country that once defended liberty around the world, but defense of such citizenship in America at home is at jeopardy as well. Why link Annapolis to this phenomenon to injustice in America? Because, it is seen that Annapolis is an injustice, and a danger to world peace. America's government need only to look in a mirror to realize who is to blame for the losses of integrity, loss of freedoms of the best citizenship of modern societies, and loss of national humility that once sought the best for neighbors over self interests. Duplicity abounds. The American government should be advocates for American citizens and protecting those rights and extending a similar hand to friends, and not be pandering to the enemies who have found their way into the apparently corrupt dark corners of the bureaucratic labyrinth to foist their malevolent handiwork from within. If there is no justice within America against the terrorists, how are we to expect justice in the world arena? Annapolis is anticipated by some to provide a common meeting ground in order to find a solution that would bring stability to the Middle East. It should be calling for justice on both sides to bring that common place of understanding, that the bargaining partners would be able to derive benefits for each side. It is not to be so, for the ‘Palestinians' have resorted to their long-ago decided assertion that they are to be the sole beneficiaries to any agreement being made about the land of Israel. The moderators have apparently conceded and agreed. Israel is again to be treated with the injustice of a diffident mentality and enduring animosity towards maintaining the Jewish State intact. If a people that have suffered the indignities as have the Israeli's and cannot get proper support from the American government, then how do Americans get to expect any better treatment when the same animosities that are fomented against Israel comes from the same mentality that aids and abets terrorist organizations plotting against Americans? Anyone? Anyone? (Psssst,….you can't).
