In support of Teddy Dear...Reader comment on item: Not Child's Play: The Teddy-Bear Intifada Submitted by Jagmohan Singh Khurmi (India), Dec 4, 2007 at 12:49 A British schoolteacher has been arrested in Sudan accused of insulting Islam's Prophet, after she allowed her pupils to name a teddy bear Muhammad. The muslims are very angry I am also angry at this teacher (but for some other reason) : A Teddy Bear is no small deal. It symbolizes the spirit of innocence, friendship and childlike trust. Like all well-to-kids I too have sweet memories of my golden kindergarten days. When friends turned sour, parents scolded, teddy dear was there with an eternal smile. Its eyes, though nothing more than beads, were at times, more full of meaning than any other eyes. For what the hell did they name the Teddy after ...him. This is insult of teddy bear I can't tolerate. My feelings are very-very hurt. Jagmohan Singh Khurmi India
