Listen to those who have gone before us...Reader comment on item: The End of American Jewry's Golden Era Submitted by Veronique Carew (United States), Feb 18, 2008 at 01:54 Like the labor of love, time and efforts it takes to carefully dig up who our ancestors were for a present day family geneology tree, do an historical archeological dig of facts, truths, challenges and readings on Islam, beginning from its first years and following its relentless and systematic war-lording rampages and cultural genocide posed as righteous ideology (to Darfur and the Sudan etc) to global terror, from there~to here. In the 8th century (the Dark ages) Mohammadism was semi-consciously blood-thirsty and still might have counted its own dead, now it is un-consciously blood-thirsty and never stops to count the dead~their own dead all around them~and our dead who once breathed and believed that life itself remains sacred. With this intrinsic dignity of life itself, has evolved the ground and center of all respect and also all good hopefilled reasons for wanting to get up in the morning and live from day to day. Un-consious Islam is intent on dismissing, denying, denigrating and destroying all divine and human memory~as in our very DNA~which is why, as a people, they will never have a renaissance or a rebirth. Of course, Christians, Jews and Hindu's have had plenty of violence in their own histories and psyche's, however, the conversion stories (rebirth-renaissance) itself comes with the looking back, (the dig), the recognition, contrition and reconciliation of what we have done wrong and the desire to forgive, be forgiven and transcend our past. There is no such self-knowledge, higher consciousness or remorse in Islam. Read "The Battle of Lepanto," and in particular, GK Chesteron's unheeded prophetic statement from almost a century ago: that any form of un-constrained Islam was/is the worst anti-life heresy to face the western world in 1200 years. This brilliant, humble crusty apostle of common sense, GK, is now dreadfully whiter than the Cliffs of Dover themselves as he looks at what these morally-inept and clueless impotent Englishmen have done in his own home country (what we both see as ) While London was burning... For a lasting earthly sanity, protection and consolation, there is the Lady of Fatima rosary, which is the greatest and last hope...and the one who stands compassionate, firm and into perpetuity with the Son of Man.
