RushideeReader comment on item: Rushdie Fails to Move the Zealots Submitted by imdad ali (Pakistan), Apr 17, 2008 at 01:27 Without rhyme and reason people are biased and passing seeping remarks against savior of humanity (Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him) to hurt the feelings and sentiments of Muslims. First thing, he was apostle of God like Jesus (peace be upon him). Quran is revealed book like Bible. It is an admitted fact, we Muslims believe that Jesus was born without father and on the contrary Christians and Jews are reluctant to profess that Holy prophet is Messenger of God and Quran is book of God. But western scholars have duped its own people by projecting false notion that Muhammad was an intellectual of his age and concocted verses to beguile people. People accepted his view hence new religion was found that is Islam. Since malicious campaign has been carried on to target impeccable personality. Some times, they dragged him in marriage issues, some on lust for power and money and repeatedly labeled him as a killer of Jews. This is another attempt to test the nerve of Muslims by exciting Rushdiee to compose book to castigate and criticize Holy prophet. Rushdiee is simply an absurd writer who is not clear in his Satanic verses what he wants to convey his message to the public. In his books, he spoiled the image of holy Gabriel but Christians are dumped to talk on this issue because it is against holy prophet. I have read said and urge people to tell what is actual theme of the book. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
