Resisting IslamReader comment on item: Rushdie Fails to Move the Zealots Submitted by Sufi imdad ali (Pakistan), Apr 23, 2008 at 02:19 Freedom of expression does not give license every body to say what ever he likes. There are certain limits and boundaries that are obligatory upon person who wants to exercise freedom of expression. Two wrong persons cannot make right choice. Rushdiee is puppet and sponsored writer of conspirators who are hell bent to drag two sister religion Islam and Christianity into religious war zone. Western people are least aware about. They know not through books but through printing and electronic media, which is biased, and prejudice. It is prerequisite for literary doyen to not distort facts and figure, which are universal, acknowledged. Let suppose, sun is traveling into space. I deny on the basis that I have not seen it with naked eye. I do not have right to deny on the basis of shallow approach that as I did not see it, hence it is wrong theory. Fact is that it is an admitted fact so every body has to accept it. It is the same case with Rushdiee. He is an absurd writer and distort figures and such facts are acceptable to West because it attracts them, so they are protect not only him but his work which is not literary work.
