Building churches in Saudi Arabia

Reader comment on item: An International Law to Respect Religion?

Submitted by joe (South Africa), Aug 20, 2008 at 13:42

Christianity,in particular Catholic Church (Vatican),dispays an amazingly incredible audacity in issuing demands that churches be built in Arabia, after being responsible for the forcible seizure and conversion of thousands of mosques into churches in Spain, Portugal,Sicily and Phillipines.

Justice demands that before any dialogue/conversation/negotiation about building churches in Arabia ( within the ambit of reciprocity or otherwise) can even begin to be considered, the Vatican and other Christian organisations must restore Muslim places of worship and property so seized to their original state/condition and function. The same should apply to synagogues and other places of worship equally seized during church driven Inquisition during Dark Ages of the West.
