When will Europe "wake up"? (rhetorical question)

"We are finally at a point at which the West is awaking to the danger."

LOL. That's funny.

I heard similar comments in 2001. And no one woke up.

Then I heard similar comments in 2003. And again, no one woke up.

I heard them again in 2004. And gee whiz, no one woke up.

Now we hear it in 2008. Let's face it: no one's waking up over this or Europeans keep pressing the Snooze button. If you want to cherish the glory of Europe, I suggest you look at those achievements while they're still there. Failing that, there's always that DVD of "Return of the King" you can pop in.

Aside from rhetoric in fantasy media, and the virtual bravado and ravings of anonymous Internet warriors, the fight to preserve Europe still belongs in the fiction aisle, and all real-life signals point to Eurabia becoming a reality. Au revoir Europe. Salam aleikum Eurabia!
