Typical American comment

How many Britsh soldiers and civilians (men, woman and children) fought and died for Britain and Europe during the war? American made Britain pay hard cash for the ships and amourments that were sent during the war and almost bankcruted one of the worlds largest economies.

We welcomed the Americans and were grateful, but don't let it be said that did everything and the British sat back and did ...nothing!
