Israel's options.Reader comment on item: The Democrats and Israel Submitted by Ali Ahmed (Canada), Jan 21, 2009 at 01:43 With or without US support, Israel's options are all bad. Option #1, Throw out Palestinians to Jordan and Egypt. Impossible without massive wars and killings. Option #2, An apartheid State. Impossible and very costly in the 21st century. Option #3, One country with equal vote for all. Impossible for Jews because Palestinians will outnumber Jews in a big percentage in a decade or two. Option #4, A two state solution. Impossible without dismantling settlements and the right of return. I prefer the one State solution with equal vote for all in a democracy. This is also what Ahamdinejad and Gadafi suggest.
