domestic violence,with or without religion

Such a sad case as this should not be labeled an honor killing unless Mr. Hassan falls on the claim that honor killings are allowed in Islam. Clearly Hassan went berserk, but why? Perhaps his wife found out something about his real agenda (citing some of the dubious guests who appeared on the show) and was going to blab. Or he just couldn't stand the thought of her leaving him.

Very very sad indeed that a person cannot handle the every day occurence of divorce. This unfortunately seems to happen mostly to men, who cannot bear the thought of paying alimony or child support, so they stupidly and sinfully murder their wives instead. That Hassan is Muslim is, I think, a coincidence, but not the entire reason for this horrific murder. Still perhaps when more evidence is undercovered, it may be that Hassan thought he had every right to murder his wife; in any case, he should be put away for life.
