You can't teach about GodReader comment on item: "History Alive!," Scottsdale Schools, and a Reader's Comment at www.danielpipes.org Submitted by John Chalus (United States), Mar 8, 2009 at 13:56 We are not permitted to teach Judaism or Christianity in the public schools. Why are we allowed to teach about Islam. This is not material for elementary school children. A course in comparitve religion is a high school or college level course. Global perspective baloney. I teach in a public school and have done for 30 plus years. Most kids that I have come across can't find their state on a map of the USA. US history is basically no longer taught. We teach Social Studies. Lets teach our children about what a great country we live in before we expose them to the wonderful world of Islam.
