The evil of men's heartsReader comment on item: Bushfire Jihad Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Mar 28, 2009 at 16:31 Many of us thought of terrorism during the recent fires in Australia, but few of us voiced that opinion because of fear of ridicule. But when you think about it, what better way for massive destruction and making a point than starting fires in one of the driest areas of the world? Terrorism in any form, whether from radical Islamists or other groups, stems from the desire to annihilate whatever it deems its enemy; using fire is a very clever way to destroy. We may never know who was behind the fires, and there is no end to the level of evil that man is capable of, but beating terrorism is something that we should always be striving for.
