Ayman Odeh: "we've never harmed nature!"

On Saturday my ears caught a few seconds of radio. Ayman Odeh was interviewed. He sounded indignant: "we [the Arabs] have never harmed nature!" (אף פעם לא פגענו בטבע). I'm reading your list-of-events now and his claim seems... "problematic".

I was trying to google his words so I could post a link. I couldn't find the exact interview but in another, at 1:04, he again says "we've never harmed nature":

(But lets not make him a demon: he was talking about the north, not about the whole land.)

The Palestinian authority published a condemnation for the arson attacks a couple of days ago. But, no, not because it may harms Jews but because "the trees burning are Palestinian trees". So it seems that "Israeli Arabs" and "Palestinians" share this conviction.
