how does fascism come aboutReader comment on item: When Political Correctness Chokes Off Communications Submitted by G.Vishvas (Germany), May 9, 2009 at 10:10 respected salah ali many thanks for your kind response. some pressing work has delayed my answer. islam is already 1300+ years old. There are good and bad things in islam - unfortunately the muslim thinks there are only good things in islam. This is the start of a big error which has kept multiplying and amplifying itself all these years. the important question is not about the good and bad achievements of the past but about the performance of the present times and the expectations about the future. so long muslims continue to praise islam and Mohammad excessively and uncritically it will lead to fascism. This is in the nature of our life on the earth. Neither kuran nor Mohammad should be praised or defended to such an extent that it leads to a fascist closed-minded arrogant mentality and resulting dishonesty among muslims. It will be very difficult - may be even impossible - for a muslim to accept this. Therefore all dialogue attempts between muslims and non-muslims fail. The violence practised by muslims - even against their fellow muslims - is also a result of this arrogance and closed-minded-ness. Islam is not and was not intended and cannot and should not be intended as the last word of truth or guidance. Then the good things in islam will find their legitimate place in our lives. Otherwise only fascism will result. The actual performance of islam and muslims proves this. Islam has become the jahiliyya of the 21st century. I hope you understand why this has become so.
