Trust you? I think not.

It's no accident that what I say has a little in common with what the Taliban says. But, I think you stretch things a might. First, the reverse is partialy true. Satan has paralleled God's plan with a few modifications. The fallen angel is anything but stupid, and knows much of God's plan through the Christ, so he has introduced a Spiritually corrupted version. Muhammad no doubt knew much of Christ's teachings as did many people in that part of the world.

Several hundred years after Jesus death, his teachings had spread pretty widely. Enter Muhammad who promoted a peaceful & loving message at first. His mistake was getting to caught up in his own success. He accrued a little power & military might and Satan had him. This so-called prophet then went far south and corrupted much of what he had learned of Jesus teachings. You don't see any reason for some of what I say sounding a little like the Taliban? Stretch yourself a little. You do so in saying my message sounded a little on the Taliban side of things. Take it a little further.

I'll throw something else into the mix. I'm a realist and find lying to myself to be a waste of time. That Islam has made some lengthy strides in the world political scene, is just facing the facts. Yes, Jesus said that world power would fall into the hands of those with enormous evil as we approach the end times. So, I call a spade a spade. Evil is taking hold of man's fancy. Homosexuality is in, abortion is not only acceptable but promoted, and the lies spread by the western press these days is hungrily licked up by deluded and ignorant populations as fact.

Israel sits and endures the Muslim terrorist attacks until it can no longer safely do so. No one says a word until the Israelis finally fight back, and then suddenly they are labeled the aggressor & accused of the very crimes and atrocities that are standard military operating procedure for the Muslim terrorists.

Generally the world has flipped to believing whatever is currently popular and fashionable about anything. It's laughable, atrocious, and unbelievable, but exactly what the Christ prophesied.

Dr. Pipes and his people do an incredible job of delivering factual information, but I fear too few people are availing themselves of his magnificent doses on reality.

Because I face the facts instead of deluding myself and fess up to my own nation's complicity, you think I'm promoting a Taliban way of thinking? You might read a little more carefully.

I play devils advocate sometimes and promote my own beliefs through a back door approach. I don't quote scripture hardly at at all, not because I can't, but because people toss it off as soon as they hear it regardless of the truth it contains. The message of Jesus Christ can be promoted through any venue including logic, reason, and natural observation. My tactics are different but go for the same goal.

The Taliban has a parallel goal but promotes it through evil. They accuse the west of having become very corrupted & they are right. Their problem is tactics and missing God's central messages. All men are prone to evil and sin. For those who see the point and confess their own sinful nature and waywardness, the Christ has offered a way that cleanses and re-directs man's focus toward God and changing their way of living. ALL men sin and fall short of God's perfect nature. The Taliban don't see it that way. They figure all they have to do is believe in Allah and they have carte Blanche to perform every heinous and evil act that can come to a human mind. And they do.

Man came to a pivotal point in time where God produced a particular man named Abraham. He had two sons. Each became the seed for a different pathway for the human race. One eventually produced Jesus Christ and the other Muhammad. You know the nature of Muhammad's followers. Judge the Christ by his own words and accomplishments. That his followers fail to live up to the perfect nature of God, is acknowledged by true Christians. Through Jesus living in us, we work hard to become better human beings knowing that we will never get all the way there in this life. It is a far different goal than that of the Taliban. Adamantly pursuing righteousness is God's command to us. It is uncomplete without accepting the horrific sacrifice that God himself provided - payment for sin through accepting the gift his Son sacrificially gave us.

I see my country, the United States, as what was man's last chance to get it all right. God infused it with godly men and a very carefully set up government. Man's corrupt nature produced the failure that you now see the U.S. becoming. I see the possibility of one last revival and then total collapse. There is only one way and the Christ delivered it. It was originally delivered from the central point of the human race in the Middle East. It has spread to every continent and nation. You will find that all religions have portions of what Jesus taught, but none deliver the whole package except that which is beautifully laid out in the Word of God as given in the Bible. Man imperfectly delivers it, but the great truth within it is chrystal clear. It's up to every individual to decide for themselves. All of Gods' creation points the way to what Jesus taught. Those who refuse to even look have cooked their own goose.
