Very Shocking- The Government of Iran basically says shut up to the people.Reader comment on item: Ahmadinejad or Mousavi? Submitted by Anne (United States), Jun 21, 2009 at 10:54 We have watched the shocking events happening in Iran and sympathize with the people. They want fair elections, freedom, and the right to differ with the government. Freedom is democracy that all people in all nations crave. I don't know anyone who thinks this was a fair and honest election, and many of us are saying if Iran gets away with this tyranny, other governments will try to pull the same dictatorship. It is not the governments that create prosperity, or fairness, it is the people who work hard, and vote for change. We the people should have a right to throw the people out of office, who are not truly serving their needs and interests.. The citizens are crying out for fairness, and honesty, to let their vote count. I do believe Hossein Mousavi would be a better choice to take over Iran. He seems to be more for hearing the voice of the people, instead of imposing the governments will on the people, and the insane actions of creating nuclear weapons to use on Israel and the rest of the world. In fact, Ahmadinajad could be responsible for another holocaust, if he is allowed to proceed on his present course. I think the people of Iran should also get strong support from all nations, and especially from the US and President Obama. We must crush tyranny and unfairness, and make sure that all elections are legal and honorable!
