Careful Study of the Holy Bible Confirms Its Truth About the Return Of Jesus ChristReader comment on item: A Call for American Boldness in Iran Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jun 29, 2009 at 11:58 We shall preface this response to one of the more intelligent exchanges we have had regarding our differences between Christianity and Islam, by ensuring there is no judgment about such things that have not been considered by our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ; and that as all things were and are created by Him through His relationship with the Father Almighty God, and that nothing is impossible for Him to do if He has purposed for it to be so. We shall come back to that later. As to your first supposition of logic in any of the statements this reader makes, we can agree that many find little human logic in the Biblical things expounded here. So when we try to understand how an Almighty God we say is loving can demonstrate the types of judgments found in the Hebrew Holy Bible, we cannot do it by human standards, but by referring exclusively to the Holy Bible declaring that Almighty God is first a Holy and Righteous God, and that in His Holiness His love is demonstrated though the Person of His Son, sent, begotten to take on our infirmities, then to die for our sins and raised up for the justification of our faith in Him. This is a fact of history that is not accepted in Islam, for Islam is raised up to oppose the Truth in the Holy Bible, and does so by absorbing parts that can be argued logically in human terms, and there is reason for that. Arabic is a difficult language for westerners to understand, for most of the European languages have their influences in Latin and Greek etymologies, which stems from differing thought processes (hence grammatical structures). So the Quran does not translate easily for non-Arabic speakers. Were it not for the Septuagint, that same difficulty would be encountered in Hebrew as one tries to but superseding that is in seeking the wisdom of the Hebrew Holy Bible, one has the Holy Spirit to teach and guide the faithful in n seeking out the Truth of His WORD. Now there is interesting intrigue in your indication that Sartre and Marx are in the mental process as you study the Quran, for both are advocates of an antagonistic posture against the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, both being either agnostic or atheistic in their philosophies on such things. This would suggest a conflict from a theological perspective, that one might derive an indication of questioning the basis of faith that cannot be understood on a humanistic level. Therein probably lies the appeal of the Quran, that if one lets, its attraction is understandable as its extracts what knowledge it can from the Holy Bible and transforms it to a human level. But by doing so, it eliminates central Truth, such as how it can be that Jesus Christ is both the Son of Almighty God, and in communion with the Godhead, is Almighty God. As we mentioned before, if Almighty God is all powerful, what can be withheld from Him? Nothing, including sending Jesus Christ in the human form to become our propitiation for the sins of an unbelieving mankind, that a person believing in that faith has salvation unto eternal life. Now we can accede to the assertion that as the Hebrew Holy Scripture has two parts, the first (Torah, the Prophets, the Books of Wisdom) being directed to the Jewish people as the chosen ones of Almighty God, and the second (The Brit Hadassah – the New Testament) being expanded to include non-Jewish believers in a more universal revelation of Almighty God be LORD of all, and Father to all who believe. It is in that universality that this reader gives thanks to Almighty God through Jesus Christ, for without that, there would be no eternal life, nor the ability to share this witness with you and family. Now as to the return of Jesus Christ, the Quran has taken the Holy Bible and redirected the truth about the event and why it is going to occur according to the Hebrew Prophets, and not the Prophet of Islam. The central reason is that Almighty God has measured the need for judgment, and His timing for such judgment is just about to enter its next phase. The apostasy of the church is completed and the ability for the true believers to continue the witness just about done. It is time for the LORD to take up the question of unbelief and show the world why it cannot govern itself anymore and He is preparing to assume the full responsibility. His return to purge the iniquities and assume the throne in Jerusalem is imminent, but it requires the completion of His WORD, in Daniel, the Revelation, and all of the other appurtenant portions of the Hebrew Holy Bible. It will not be because of greed that the world is prepared (though greed does exhibit itself as surely as any other sin in these times), but unbelief. If one does not believe in Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior, then there is judgment coming for that unbelief. And, just to assure one that Jerusalem is the place to be watching, notice that the 'Palestinians', Arabic and Islamic to their very core, are not clamoring for Mecca to be their capitol, but Jerusalem. And that is why Israel is the place the world has chosen to fight the rule of Almighty God, and why the Hebrew Holy Bible has it right, and had it right from the first.
