Iraqis celebrated the withdrawal of U.S. soldiers from Iraqi cities on July 1.Reader comment on item: Limping away from a Shattered Iraq Submitted by Ynnatchkah (United States), Jul 8, 2009 at 20:03 In my opinion, the Iraqis celebrating the withdrawal of U.S. soldiers from Iraqi cities on July 1 is a sign of no matter how much the shi'ite legislator, Qassim Daoud, openly calls for American troops to remain until 2020 or 2025, democracy in the way we understand it, will never take place, at their inner choice. The Iraqi people did neither internalize nor metabolize the concept of liberty, justice and most of all, the sacrifice that the west (not responsible for their childish, their mess, their deplorable culture) have done for them. Their celebration is above all a serious sign of ungratefulness. It will always be a land controlled by Shariah in all senses and heinous mullahs at Iraqis choice. Non wisdom has a price. Secondly, I was wondering when Qassim Daoud stated that about the troops, who would continue to pay the bill for that Islamic forever hell to us and immaturity. If some Iraqis want so much to have freedom and be happy, why they do not beg their Dubai Habyby to help them out on that- at their taxes and lives expenses? Perhaps, b/c they know it is a good strategy to keep playing victimhood, as if they really wanted democracy, and then go on draining us to the exhaustion in all sources, so they can destroy us. My guess is EVEN if the Americans were to stay until 2025, the situation would vanish by then, still in a heartbeat. My opinion conforms to Dr. Pipes views: The American forces departure is already due by far.
