The only place where Arabs and Jews live in "peace" is Israel, not "Palestine"Reader comment on item: Salam Fayyad Says Yes to Jews Living in a Palestinian State? Submitted by DrRJP (United States), Jul 10, 2009 at 13:33 Where else in the Middle East, besides Israel, have "Palestinian Arabs" ever lived with Jews in peace? They never lived in peace in Israel before it became a state in 1948. Arab pogroms in 1929 and the riots in 1936 are a testament to that. They never lived in peace in the West Bank when Palestinian Jordan occupied it. In fact, Jews were not allowed to live ANYWHERE in Palestinian Jordan between 1948 and 1967. They never lived in peace with Jews in Gaza when Egypt controlled it. They never lived in peace with Jews in Gaza when Israel controlled it. HOWEVER, a greater proportion of Gazans did live peacefully with Jews when Israel controlled it than when Egypt controlled it. Take the number of Palestinian Arabs allegedly killed by Israel, multiply it by 15, and that will give you some idea of how many Palestinian Arabs were killed by other Arabs. Now, all of that doesn't begin to factor in as much as the generational indoctrination of entire populations of Palestinian Arabs into a psychopathic hatred of Jews and Israel, and the concomitant lust to kill and destroy them: all part of Yassir Arafat's plan to send a "million shadids marching into Israel." The Palestinian Arab children of 1993 are now adults with more than 15 years of unabated hatred and glory of "bathing in the blood of Jews." Like, suddenly, all of that will magically be washed away if the Palestinian Arabs were to get yet ANOTHER independent state? Wafa Sultan said it best: "It's in our blood to hate Jews." Nothing but complete annihilation will satisfy Hamas and Fatah with the only difference being that Fatah wants to try to destroy Israel politicially before they launch another intifada. Arafat's Trojan Horse game plan is still alive and well in his protege, Mahmoud Abbas. Simple, really. Get as much land as you can politically, and then get the rest of it militarily. Obama's Cairo speech confirmed to terrorists everywhere that "armed resistance," aka murder of Jews, really works! Crime DOES pay, by the $trillions! The only nation in the Middle East where Jews and Christians are treated as equals is in Israel. Everywhere else they are constantly being discriminated, harrassed, maimed, and killed. It's a lovely dream, though. Palestinian Arabs living side-by-side in peace. Wake up. Palestinian Arabs cannot even live side-by-side in peace with each other. The animosity between Fatah and Hamas will not magically be washed away, either, by an independent state. How in the world is an Iranian fundamentalist Shi'ite puppet government going to work together with a "moderate" Muslim NGO that does not like to play second-fiddle? As you said, let's wait for Fayyad's Arabic counterpoint. Arafat was the master of American/Farsi doublespeak. One side of his mouth said, "I will renounce terrorism," while the other side screamed, "I will continue armed resistance!" It's a crying shame that Israel did not annex the West Bank and Gaza after the Six-Day-War. They could have done it,legally, and none would have said, "Boo." Palestinian Arabs living in the territories would have had the same, high standard of living and freedom as those living inside Israel. What was it you said, Daniel? Palestinian Arabs prefer the "Hell of Israel" to the "Heaven of Hamas?" Submitting....
