unimpressed!Reader comment on item: CAIR's Phony Petition [about Nick Berg] Submitted by RDH (United States), Jul 14, 2004 at 08:28 I am unimpressed by this petition by CAIR calling for a refuting of Muslim/Islamic terrorist and a defense of the Islamic faith. I recall the history of the Second World War where when are government and the nation refuted the acts of the Nazis and actively did something about it. I recall the efforts of the black airmen who gaurded our bombers in their flights to Germany; I recall that our military was made up of men with German and Italian heritage, as well as other nationalities; I recall how the native American Indians helpled in the war of the South Pacific and in other fields. This represents words backed by action. Maybe CAIR will organize a squad, company, battalion of Muslims who will actually do something in stopping the terrorists. Until then I am unimpressed with CAIR"S petition. REMEMBER THE TROJAN HORSE!Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
