CAIR's Phony Petition Art. 1955Reader comment on item: CAIR's Phony Petition [about Nick Berg] Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Jul 23, 2004 at 05:56 Dear Prof Pipes,Reasons advanced by Mr Omar Ahmad, Chairman, CAIR are very familiar to me. The individual terrorists are bad but not Islam. In India, apologists of Islam both Muslim and nonMuslim condemn the Muslim invaders and rulers but Islam has nothing to do with them. I shall never tire to say that Muslims are not free agents and will be free when they come out of their Islamic shell. I endorse the views expressed by the Sufi Mr Stephen Schwartz. The islamic Community should ex-communicate the families who contribute their chlildren for jehadi and related activities. Regards, Sincerely,S.C.Panda Prof Daniel Pipes, Director, MEF Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
