When the voice of the Middle Eastern people of Peace counts...Reader comment on item: Moshe Ya'alon's "Harsh" and "Heartless" Comment about the Palestinians Submitted by Norma Fares (Lebanon), Aug 9, 2009 at 20:14 If my voice would count some day please remember to add it to Ya'alon's comment: "The Palestinians must be made to understand in the deepest recesses of their consciousness that they are a defeated people." Note: If some space is allowed, I would add: Palestinians and also their brothers i.e., the .majority of Arab countries which together form a bouquet of defeated people nourished with hatred, violence, backwardness and racism = Anti-peace. I'm not racist. Truth is Truth. Asking --now-- pressing on Israel to facilitate Peace with its anti-peace neighborhood? Those who still insist on pursuing the same tactic stereotype of approaching The Middle East affairs like the USA, must switch to some useful one i.e. Asking/forcing Arab regimes to make Peace with Israel [and have Israel "say NO and feel great"]: Longing to witness that day! Would the free world, including UN, dare to change its boring strategy towards Arab countries? The last visit of Hillary Clinton to Saudi Arabia did only say "NO" but went far to congratulate its "ally" for its continuous effort to improve Peace in the region. Maybe the word of Peace changed from its initial meaning to its opposite?! Maybe the USA ,Instead of taking severe action against Arab countries that do not miss an opportunity to stand savagely against Peace, USA started speaking the language of the Egyptian minister of culture, in English? Writing from Lebanon, I smile for Peace. Yes, I do. Norma Fares Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
