Thank you for some fair analysis on the settlement issue. My own view: Jews have won their wars of self-defense. No territory should ever be given away to any Arab refugee in light of the fact they should and still can be resettled in Arab countries. See Al-Arabiya TV Secretary General calling for the resettlement of so-called Palestinian refugees by the Arab countries.

Afterall, wasn't the TransJordan, a state for Palestinians, i..e, those Arabs given a "Palestinian passport" by the British during the Palestine Mandate period when the Jordan wasa part of the Palestine Mandate and Arabs lived there and assumed the identity of a "Palestinian"?
