Kaffir (United States), Aug 4, 2002 at 15:44 I agree that the clerics there are willing to kill as many Iranians as it takes to keep their hold on power.But the U.S. must realize that the best way to destroy Saddam Hussein is with a pro U.S. Iranian regime in place and that there is an opportunity here. Surely there is some power hungry general ready to claim power. Maybe the U.S. could try to reinsert the ancient religion of Zoraster in place of Islam. The U.S. should be trying something here. Khatami is nothing but a stooge for the clerics. And maybe the solution is to get rid of the clerics.
