UN Seeks World SupremacyReader comment on item: [Election Monitors:] The Next Assault on American Sovereignty Submitted by Pat Kunz (United States), Aug 16, 2004 at 17:45 According to the Center for Individual Freedom (cfif.org), the UN is also seeking to levy world wide taxes in a bid to gain greater funding and exert more power over the wealthier countries of the world. I don't know how this can be done without US acquiescence, but it would seem to pose a greater threat to American sovereignty than the presence of international officials at American polling places. All Americans who see the UN as the hope of the world should decide what it is they want: one world government (which the UN would become) or freedom. We can't have both.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
