Mr. Pipes:

No I do not feel safer but I do appreciate your efforts at attempting to inform what seems to be a mostly clueless America. Thank You!

I don't understand why Islamic terrorists keep trying to sneak explosives into the US on airplanes. It appears that all they have to do is appeal to the State Department for access as an "academic" and the gates to the US are opened wide! Much lower risk and ultimately much more effective than trying to fool the bumbling TSA.

A relatively few militants were able to effectively disrupt a speech you gave at a California university; with more training, more widespread recruitment and better access to the militant Islamic message carried by such Islamic academics they can more effectively stifle contrary messages every where in the US.

High level actions (with the Presidential imprimatur no less) such as this rarely shows up on the mainstream media so most Americans are unaware of the insidious rot that is continually taking place.

One might say that it is only two "academics" so how much harm can they do? Simple answer: How much hate can they spew in their classrooms and mosques to hundreds or even thousands of willing Muslim adherents and followers. That murderous clown at Fort Hood is a direct result of such high level, politically correct thought .

America is showing faint signs of awareness; this had better accelerate or we won't recognize our country or its Constitution in a couple of generations.

Jim Middagh
