The hypocrite Tariq RamadanReader comment on item: Tariq Ramadan Gives Up – Then Tries Again Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 8, 2010 at 10:58 Dr. Pipes The hypocrite Tariq Ramdan and in an article written by him in the op/ed page of the NYT, and this was back in 2004 and this was when he was denied a visa to come and teach at Notre Dame university, and I'm paraphrasing here what he wrote that he Tariq Ramadan has no link with the ideas of his fascist grand father Hasan el-Bana and he should not be judged by what Hasan el-Bana believed in or preached and for the readers among the bizarre ideas of his grand-father that he wanted to emulate Hitler;'s final solution for the jews but in the case of this fascist the Copts were to be the subject of this final solution. For the readers: Hasan el-Bana was the founder of el-ikhwan el-Muslimeen or the Muslim brotherhood who was a fascist and an admirer of Hitler and who wanted the whole world, either in peace or thru war and violence, become part of the islamic umma and who wanted even his own co-citizens the Copts of Egypt to be killed or be converted to islam Now here is a quote by Tariq Ramadan from le Monde Diplomatique (credit goes to ibn warraq) and in an interview by Alain Gresh he was quoted as saying: "i have studied Hasan el-Bana's ideas with great care and there in nothing in this heritage that i reject" Wow 360 degrees trun from what he wrote in the NYT Oh there is more "his (read this as hasan el-bana) relation to god his sprituality his mysticism his personality as well as his critical reflections on law politics society and pluralism testify to me his qualities of heart and mind.....his commitment also is a continuing reason for my respect and admiration." But this begs the question: why would he tell the reporter at le Monde Diplomatique that he does not reject any of the fascist ideas of his fascist grand father then he tells us readers of the NYT the exact opposite? The answer is because he is a hypocrite
